I LOVE being a Pit Bull Advocate. It's hard to put into words how much I cherish talking to people about their experiences and working together to find solutions to the host of problems that plague the animals we care so deeply for.
However, there are aspects of advocacy that are so hard. In doing the first 10 episodes of this podcast, I'm realizing that I've forgotten how difficult being an advocate has been... and how desensitized I've become to the plethora of problems. These things are new, raw and exceedingly difficult for so many of you on a daily basis.
Today's topic is likely going to be brand new information for the majority of our listeners. It's a very sensitive topic (hence the title... or lack there of) and a hard one to talk about... even with many years under my belt.
Please reach out with questions! Don't ever hesitate to contact me! michelle@pitbulladvocates.org
My hope with this episode is that you listen all the way through and that it allows you to elevate your advocacy a little more!
HUGS!
